These stories are told through interviews with a handful of specially chosen soldiers. Interviewed on location in Britain and America, they give their professional and personal recollections of individual and remarkable combat encounters.
McNab, author of Bravo Two Zero, uses his expert background knowledge from his years in the SAS to give the viewer a better understanding of the weapons and tactics that played a part in the combat encounters described in the programme. Getting hands-on with kit, he explains how they work, why you use them, and when you use them.
The series features dynamic, explosive re-enactments of the combat encounters described, UK and US combat camera material, UGC clips and television news archive and stills.
