About Me
I am an offline editor. I have worked on numerous productions, including How To Look Good Naked for Channel 4, Nigella’s Christmas Kitchen for BBC2, Cirque de Celebrité for SkyOne.
I started my career as a tape-logger at Sixth Sense Media, before moving on to work at The Moving Picture Company in Soho. From there I moved around the corner to The Yard W1, where I worked on Love Productions’ Cirque de Celebrité for SkyOne.
I then moved to Maverick Television, where I spent a year working on How To Look Good Naked (series 2, Channel 4), as well as working with disabled first-time directors on New Shoots (also Channel 4). I also worked closely with the Development and Drama teams, editing numerous promos and teaser-reels.
My next stop was Flashback Television, one of the UK’s longest established independent production companies. Flashback took me under it’s wing in January 2008, and I’ve been with them ever since. During my time at Flashback I’ve worked on numerous projects, including Nigella’s Christmas Kitchen (BBC2), Andy McNab’s Tour Of Duty (ITV4), and Tony Robinson’s Unexplained series (Channel 4). I have edited a number of reversions for both Channel 4 and More4, along with various web shorts for Teachers TV and the History Channel/Daily Telegraph.
I have recently started to work with various independent film-makers on a number of projects, most recently Dying To Live, a short trailer/promo used as part of a pitch to secure future funding.
I am experienced using both Avid and Final Cut Pro, working with various tape formats, and have recently started utilising tapeless formats, including RED footage, and Sony XDCam EX.
